BCL Workplace Intelligence

Independent External Reporting Channel for Serious Workplace Concerns

A structured intake pathway for workplace violence, harassment, sexual harassment, reprisal, and other serious workplace concerns that may require independent review, employer action, or external investigation.

This reporting tool is designed first for organizations that have authorized BCL Workplace Intelligence Inc. to receive concerns as an external reporting channel. A secondary pathway remains available for preliminary external screening where no such authorization has been confirmed.

Important before you begin

This portal is for independent external intake of workplace concerns. It is not monitored in real time and is not an emergency service. If anyone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical assistance, call 911 or local emergency services now. You may also need to notify workplace security, a manager, HR, or another emergency contact immediately.

Submitting information through this portal does not create a client, investigator, consulting, legal, or other retainer relationship with BCL and does not guarantee that BCL will investigate, notify others, or take any particular action.

Information submitted through this portal will be reviewed for intake purposes and handled as discreetly as reasonably possible. Confidentiality and anonymity cannot be guaranteed. Information may need to be shared with the organization, appropriate decision-makers, witnesses, emergency responders, or legal counsel where reasonably necessary to assess the report, address safety concerns, comply with legal obligations, or respond to the concern.

Please provide only information reasonably necessary to describe the concern. Do not include passwords, banking information, social insurance numbers, or unrelated personal or medical information unless it is necessary to explain the concern.

When should an employer use this instead of ordinary HR intake?

Employers should consider an external reporting channel where ordinary internal intake may not be sufficient to inspire confidence, protect the process, or support a defensible next step. This tool is particularly useful where:

  • the allegations involve management or senior leadership;
  • the reporting party may fear reprisal or loss of confidence in internal handling;
  • the matter has already been raised internally without satisfactory intake or follow-up; or
  • neutral external intake is needed before deciding whether a formal investigation mandate should be scoped.

In those circumstances, an external intake pathway can improve confidence in the process, preserve neutrality at the intake stage, and support more disciplined triage.
